Pelé Birth of a Legend : The story of Pele, the greatest soccer player of all time, from his childhood in the mining town of Three Hearts to the consecration to win the World Cup 1958 in Brazil, with only 17 years. The film Pelé Birth of a Legend is address the childhood and the beginning of the athlete’s career, to win the World Cup in 1958 with only 17 years. Although it was recorded in English cast have Brazilian names like Rodrigo Santoro, Seu Jorge and Milton Gonçalves. To dramatize the life of a star and the first World Cup conquest, the film Pelé Birth of a Legend in English tries to do his best to visually show how revolutionary was the emergence of Pelé. But the long leaves continually paralyzed spectators thanks to a narrative without inspiration and traditional ultra. The dialogues are very compelling and the script is stereotyped, yet football fans will have fun to see recreated famous players. Included Felipe Simas as cheerful and overweight Garrincha and Fernando Caruso’s skin grouchy Zito. The film will certainly please the fans by the “beautiful game,” as Pele. Unfortunately, it lacks the spark needed to attract those who are not a fan. (…) The style of play unorthodox and fluid, dubbed the “ginga”, leads to conflicts with their coaches, who argue that it was beneath the dignity of football. This happens until Pelé appear, with the leadership of coach Vicente Feola (Vincent D’Onorio, that looks like the real character but is not exactly convincing as Brazil). The drama in the film Pelé Birth of a Legend is strictly average, but the football sequences are superbly staged photo and inventive editing. They can fully immerse the viewer (it is not surprising that three assemblers have been used).
