Baaghi (English: Rebel) is a Indian action drama film directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. It features Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles, with Sudheer Babu in a supporting role. Journalists noted similarities between the film and the 2011 Indonesian film The Raid: Redemption and the 2004 Telugu-language Indian film Varsham.

The film was released worldwide on 29 April 2016. Made on a budget of ₹350 million (US$5.2 million), Baaghi has earned over₹1.20 billion (US$18 million) worldwide.

SIMILARITIES TO 'THE RAID: REDEMPTION'

On 7 April 2016 American production company XYZ Productions LLC and Indonesian film company, PT Merantau, which own the international action franchise – 'The Raid: Redemption' and 'The Raid 2' -along with Sikhya Entertainment, an Indian film production house which owns the official Hindi remake rights of both the films, filed an injunction against the producers of 'Baaghi' in the Bombay High Court. The director and Tiger initially denied both allegations of plagiarism as well as the fact that they had seen the Indonesian film. However, Tiger accepted that the The Raid was a "reference point" and "similar in nature" to Baaghi.

Baaghi The story is extremely beautiful it’s the story of the guy who don’t want to learn fighting styles but his dad provoked him to do fighting techinques but he isn’t seriously interested and something day he adore a girl who so bold and delightful and knows action then starts the important action before this movie was drama love romance however when a vilian comes who’s also within the love of girl plus much more powerfull than hero this movie Baaghi is quite entertaining movie ever must watch. I love Sharaddha kapoor, she’s an actress yet so lovely and kind hearted. And this time around Junior Shroff is by using her within the film named Baaghi. Both are looking nice inside the movie as I saw trailors. Both are performing some real action which I am a major fan. I love action movies. This movie Baaghi is incredibly appealing for that youngsters, if you’re a fan of action and several romatic drama. This is likely to be a treat to view. The movie Baaghi is definitely amazing and worth spending some time. It has brilliant performances by tiger shroff n shraddha kapoor. Even music n songs in the movie Baaghi are certainly catchy.specially the song ” sab tera” touches ur heart. Tiger proves himself within his acting skills and that he is already a next action star of industry. Overall an excellent masala film with superb action n superb romance. Best movie Baaghi to look at this weekend along with you partner or family. Tiger Shroff is training hard to the movie and as well took up some stunt classes. He will be seen performing some not witnessed before stunts within this movie Baaghi. Sajid Nadiadwala hired an exclusive team of 50 individuals to keep Shroff’s look under wraps.
