Sarbjit is an upcoming Indian biographical drama film directed by Omung Kumar. The film stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan andRandeep Hooda in lead roles, with Richa Chadha and Darshan Kumaar essaying supporting roles in the film. The film will be narrated through the perspective of Sarbjit Singh's sister Dalbir Kaur played by Aishwarya Rai.[5] The shooting commenced in December 2015 and is slated to release on 20 May 2016.

Sarbjit : Its was good title to create film hope after watch this film Sarbjit people understand what actually happened with sarbjit, sarbjit was caught on indo pakistan border and arrested by pakistan rangers near kashmir. as well as in 1991 sarabjit singh was handed death sentence under pakistan army act .but his sentence was upheld through the high court and later through the pakistan supreme court . and also the supreme court dismissed a petition to analyze his death sentence in march 2006. which means this movie about sarbjit life with his fantastic problems contributing to very important his sister efforts. Story Sarbjit of the indian punjabi boy who’s imprisoned in pak found guilty of terror attacks.as well as on the other hand indian authorities claiming he could be innocent just crossed border by accident as he was drunk. This movie Sarbjit will demonstrate the heat and tussle between indian and pakistani authorities.with nil gain to indian authorities.also showing the struggle of the sister to acquire justice for his brother in forign prison. It includes a very sensitive story that is certainly its main strength. This movie Sarbjit makes many spectators weep using this type of bereaved family. Although Sarabjit was always a controversial prisoner so Pakistan government never provide him condemned for hang till death. There were some unofficial sources also asserted Sarabjit would be a spy of RAW of India, who works best for an under cover agent in Pakistan. However he was married to Sukhpreet Kaur together with two daughters Swapandeep and Poonam Kaur. His sister Dalbir Kaur always fight for him to rescue from Pakistan but her trying never got success as Sarabjit got died caused by attack by some co prisoners in prison. In this film Sarbjit Randeep Hooda is playing the role of Sarabjit, Aishwarya is playing the role of Sarabjit’s sister Dalbir Kaur and Richa Chaddha is playing the role of Sarabjit’s wife.
